A 51-year-old man from Preston has been arrested after reports of burglary and attempted burglary across Fulwood, Ingol and Ashton-on-Ribble over the weekend.

Preston Police said they were called around 4.30pm on Sunday 12 May to a property in Fulwood to reports of a man entering the house through an unlocked door.

A second report then came in from Ashton-on-Ribble. In both cases nothing was taken when the man was challenged and left the property.
