Broughton Players will bring Little Women to Preston Playhouse next week.
The play by Peter Clapham is adapted from the famous novel by Louisa M. Alcott., which follows the lives of the March girls – Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy – and Laurie, the boy next door, as they grow up together.
The crew and set team have been busy getting everything ready for the opening night, with the first on-stage rehearsal taking place on Monday (29 April).
A spokesperson for Broughton Players said: “Life isn’t always easy for the March girls, and there is some sadness as well as joy.
“We bring their story to life onstage in a truly heartwarming way.”
