Ashton-on-Ribble’s SATA Theatre is set to perform Maskerade.
The show is a comedy written by Stephen Briggs, based on the novel by Terry Pratchett, and directed by Tony Balmer.
Described as a glorious send up of The Phantom of the Opera, Maskerade features comic characters and a brilliant plot – Pratchett at his very best.
A SATA Theatre spokesperson said: “When the youngest member of their coven decides to make off from the mountains of Lancre to the big city to launch her career in the Opera, Nanny Ogg and Granny Weatherwax feel it their bounden duty not to interfere… not much!
“But when they arrive at the Opera they find all is not well. A mysterious Phantom in evening dress stalks the boards wreaking havoc and causing despair to the new owner. And that chandelier doesn’t look too safe either…”

Maskerade is suitable for adults and older teenagers, with tickets costing £9 for the SATA Theatre website, or £10 on the door.
Performances will take place at 7.30pm on Thursday 16, Friday 17 and Saturday 18 May at St. Andrew’s Church Hall in Blackpool Road, Ashton-on-Ribble.
