Managing director Mark Robinson said: “The whole team is really looking forward to welcoming our first guests to City Studios in a few weeks.
“Meticulous detail has gone into each stage of its planning, executing a development that offers the high levels of service expected from a hotel, with the freedom and comfort of a beautifully presented studio apartment.”
The flats have been constructed around the grade-II listed former Unicorn pub in North Road which closed in 2017. The former pub itself has been converted into apartments as part of the scheme with flats on the first-floor and a communal space in the downstairs which is shared with nearby Canterbury Halls.
City Studios is due to open its first serviced apartments on Monday 1 July.
