Apple users may face a journey to Manchester for repairs after the sudden closure of a repair shop in Preston.
Western Computers, which is an authorised Apple reseller and repair shop, closed this month with the nearest store now being the official Apple store at the Trafford Centre.
Customers were given little warning regarding the closure, with one reader telling Blog Preston he only realised when he saw the empty unit.

Western Computers has sites in Oxford and Chester, with two further locations at Cheltenham and Chelmsford currently temporarily closed.
‘Apple Authorized Service Providers’ offer Apple-certified in-warranty and out-of-warranty repair service for Apple Products. Many users prefer to use these outlets because qualifying companies gain access to genuine parts, tools, training, service guides, diagnostics and resources to perform repairs.
Blog Preston contacted Fishergate Shopping Centre and Western Computers for further comment.
