Two teenagers charged following theft of motorbike in Chorley

Two teenagers have been charged following theft of a motorbike in Chorley.

Police were called following reports that a bike had been taken from a property on Buckshaw Village between 9pm and 2am on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 April 2024. 

On Friday, following information from the public, officers from the Chorley and South Ribble neighbourhood policing team located the vehicle at a property in Preston and two teenagers were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.

Two 15-year-old boys, one from Chorley and one from Preston, have since been charged with unauthorised taking of a motor vehicle.

Both will appear at Preston Youth Court on 14th May 2024.
