Stalwart of Preston Market Livesey’s Butchers owner Adrian turns 70

The owner of Livesey’s Butchers, Adrian Livesey, is celebrating his 70th birthday.

Adrian, who runs the butchers, is still working six days a week at the well-known Preston business in the Market Hall.

A Facebook post dedicated to Adrian said: “Another major milestone achieved today at Livesey’s butchers! The BIG 70!

“The boss man, the meatfather, the O.G, or more commonly known as Adrian is 70 years young. An absolute legend of Preston market still going strong six days a week behind the counter supplying the finest meats to the finest customers in the land.”

Customers flooded the comments section with happy birthday wishes.

While Adrian Robinson, Director of Environment and Property at Preston City Council, said: “On behalf of Preston City Council, I would like to wish a very happy 70^th birthday to one of our beloved, local market traders, Adrian Livesey.

“Adrian has been a cornerstone of Preston Markets for over 20 years, dedicated to bringing high quality, fresh, local produce to Preston. What Preston Markets is all about. Here’s to many more years of joy, health and continued success.”
