Robbery on one of Preston’s most-used bus routes triggers police appeal

A mobile phone was stolen on one of Preston’s most well-used bus routes, police have said.

The phone was stolen at around 3.15pm on January 11.

Police are now appealing for information relating to the robbery and have released the images below, urging people to get in touch if they recognise the person.

A spokesperson for police said: “Do you recognise this person?

“We want to speak to him in connection with a robbery on the Number 1 Preston to Longridge bus, which happened at around 3:15pm on Thursday, January 11 2024, where a mobile phone was stolen.

“If you recognise him or have any information that could assist our enquiries, please contact us on 101 quoting log 0841 of January 11.”
