Public warned not to approach man last seen in Fishergate Shopping Centre

Police are warning the public not to approach a man who has absconded during a visit to Preston.

Shaun Paul Smith was in the Fishergate Shopping Centre during a visit from a secure unit.

Preston Police say Smith, 60, was last seen near the toilets on the ground floor of the shopping centre around 1pm on Thursday 25 April.

He also uses the name Aemon Martin was is white, has grey hair, slim with a beard and a moustache.

Smith was last seen wearing a hat, cream jeans, grey/red t-shirt, grey cardigan, black coat, black trainers and a backpack.

Police say he was carrying a large TK Maxx bag.

Anyone who sees him should not approach but call 999 quoting log 0689 of April 25.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact police on 101.
