A person was rushed to hospital after a crash outside a school in Kirkham.
Police were called to the scene of a crash on Ribby Road, outside Kirkham Grammar School and close to the Kirkham Bypass, at around 11.40am this morning (April 5). The road was closed while they dealt with the incident.
The crash involved two vehicles. Crews from Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service also attended the scene, releasing one person from a vehicle before North West Ambulance Service took over.

Police confirmed that the road had reopened at around 1.50pm.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service said: “At 11:39 on 05 April. two fire engines from Blackpool and South Shore attended a road traffic collision on Ribby Road, Kirkham.
“The incident involved two vehicles. Firefighters released one casualty from their vehicle before placing them in the care of North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) paramedics. They were in attendance for forty-five minutes.”
