Officers attended and found that a window at the pub had been smashed. The man has been bailed with conditions to appear at Preston Magistrates Court on 18 July.
A spokesperson from the Moorbrook Inn has said: “It is a real shame to have lost another one of our heritage windows”.
They went on to explain that “with these types of incidents it’s not really worth claiming through insurance as it only increases premiums”.
“This is obliviously a significant unwanted cost and considering that the pub industry struggling still from the effects of Covid and inflation a very unwelcome expense,” they added.
Money will now need to be raised to purchase vinyl transfers for the window to bring it back to looking like the original.
