M6 crash between Junction 32 and Junction 33 sees one person in hospital

One person is being treated in hospital after a crash on the M6 just north of Preston.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Preston and Fulwood to the crash on the M6 northbound between Junction 32 and Junction 33.

The crash, which took place around 3.49pm on Sunday (14 April), involved one car just north of the Broughton junction.

Firefighters were on the scene for around an hour and a half.

One person was rescued and taken to hospital.
