A new home interiors store and bistro set for a retail park on Preston Docks has confirmed its opening details.
Loom Loft Furniture and Interiors is expanding into the city – and has confirmed its opening date after work began in February on the new store.
Thursday 25 April will be the opening date for the Loom Loft on the Trident Retail Park at Port Way.

This is the same day the new Aldi supermarket opens its doors within the same section of the Docks retail park.
The new store is the latest in the chain’s stores joining Clitheroe, Batley and Astley Bridge at Bolton.
Inside the store is a custom-mural made by Preston mural talent Shawn Sharpe – who is behind the lamb in Church Street and Pauline in the Yellow Dress in Friargate.
Marketing manager at Loom Loft, Tracy Leeming, said: “It’s been a pleasure to work with Shawn and the final mural is truly spectacular, we can’t wait for our customers to see it and think it will be a great central feature talking point.”
The mural includes a nod to the city’s textile and industrial heritage and was designed in conjunction with members of the Preston Past and Present Facebook group.

Shawn said: “I am unaware of any retail stores in the UK that have large-scale murals indoors, making it a unique space. It’s been a pleasure to work with Loom Loft, giving me a lot of creative freedom and bringing the best out of a space where you wouldn’t normally expect a mural.
“I can’t wait for the people of Preston to see it, it’ll be the perfect backdrop to showcase what Loom Loft does.”
