Preston Police have detained a rider and bike after a small chase in the city.

A rider was detained after a police chase in the Moor Nook area.

On 19 April, the Ribbleton Neighbourhood Team spotted an individual trying to get away from officers on a bike. After a small foot chase they were caught and detained.

The bike had been identified as causing anti-social behaviour in the area.

Preston Police said: “The driver of the bike is being dealt with and the bike has been seized.

“We will continue to tackle motorbikes in Preston and target those who think it acceptable to use motorbikes illegally within the community.”

If you have any concerns or information about crime in the area or anti-social behaviour happening, you can report this by calling 101 or 999 in an emergency.
