Another new Home Bargains store is set to come to Preston in the former PC World site in Blackpool Road.
The new store will be the fifth in the city as a planning application shows that the owners TJ Morris will demolish the building in Deepdale.
There are already Home Bargains stores in Deepdale Road, Queens Shopping Park, Market Place and the Capitol Centre.

The application to demolish the former PC World site states that it will be replaced with two retail units and create a new pedestrian access to Blackpool Road.
It’s not yet known who the occupant of the other unit will be. Up to 100 jobs will be created through the new store.
Home Bargains is seeking to extend the existing goods restriction to allow the sale of an additional range of retail goods, including allowing up to 30 per cent of the total floorspace being for the sale of food and drink.
