A car boot sale popular with Prestonians is coming back.
Clitheroe Car Boot Sale is returning to Clitheroe Auction Mart on Saturday 28 April.
The event has been a huge success and a family favourite for weekend days out since it opened all the way back in the late 1980s.
Originally under the management of Hoyles Promotions, the car boot sale is being taken over by Blackpool-based entrepreneur Richard Eccles.
Richard said: “Now more than ever people should be supporting car boot sales and flea markets.
“The best form of recycling is to sell goods on second hand rather than throwing them away, and Clitheroe Car Boot Sale is the perfect place just for that.”

The car boot sale will run every Sunday, offering up second hand goods, clothing, homewares, antiques, collectibles and more. With more than half of the site indoors, the event will run whatever the weather.
Parking is free and the admission fee has been halved to just 50p per person. As a special ‘welcome back’ bonus, there will be no entry fee for the first two weeks.
Stallholders can book online in advance or just turn up on the day from 7am, with buyers welcome from 8am.
