Police closed a busy route through Deepdale due to a crash.

Ribbleton Avenue was shut between Acregate Lane and Ceclia Street turns.

The crash took place around 7.58am on Wednesday (20 March) and police were called by the North West Ambulance Service to the scene. Only one vehicle is understood to be involved.

A man in his 60s is in hospital in a serious condition, in an update from police.
