A van driver has been left in a serious condition in hospital after a collision in Ribbleton Avenue.
Preston Police are appealing for information after a the driver was injured in a crash which shut the key road through Deepdale for six hours on Wednesday (20 March) morning.
Officers were called at 7.55am to Ribbleton Avenue at its junction with Acregate Lane, to a report of a road traffic collision.

They found that a Toyota Panel van had collided with a traffic light at a pedestrian crossing.
The driver of the van, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital and is in a serious condition.
His family are now being supported by specially trained officers.
