Lancashire County Council is set to visit Preston’s Market Hall to tackle ongoing parking issues.
This comes after it has been reported on multiple occasions that motorists are parking directly outside the market where there are no marked spaces.
Pictures seen by Blog Preston and reports from Market Hall traders say there can be up to 30 vehicles parked in the area at top of Orchard Street near the Wallace and Gromit statue.

The county council has since said that they will send parking enforcement officers to the Matkets area to assess the situation.
Peter Bell, regulation and enforcement manager at Lancashire County Council, told Blog Preston: “It has been brought to our attention that there are some parking concerns at Preston Market.
“Officers will visit the area to review the issues and take appropriate action if needed.”
Preston City Council, who operate the Market Hall, said parking enforcement was up to the county council.
