Jalgos Sports and Social Club is holding on open day and night this weekend.
The free event kicks off at 2pm tomorrow (Saturday 23 March) with a series of family-friendly activities including dominoes, games, bingo and a raffle.
From 6pm, there will be an adults-only Bob Marley themed party.
The Caribbean club, based in Rose Street in the city centre, will be fundraising throughout the event as it faces financial difficulties and an uncertain future.

Club member, Kuba Bey, recently posted in the Preston Past and Preston Facebook group to encourage new visitors.
Kuba said: “Jalgos has been a part of the Preston community for over 47 years. If we don’t want this icon to fade away into the pages of history, we need to pull together to help get it back on its feet.
“Walk into the sunny, laid back and relaxing – and somewhat old but very welcoming – surroundings of Jalgos, and breathe life back into the idyllic retro-style club. Watch it put an ear-to-ear smile on your face, and learn more about the Caribbean life, food and culture through its staff and its patrons.
“There is a lot of history, heritage, culture and love within the walls of Jalgos, and oh did I forget to mention that the ale is cheap too. So if you fancy a change and something with a bit of a Caribbean twist, then why not head up to the Jalgos club in town behind the Warehouse and you’ll have yourself a fantastic night.”
Lancashire’s longest running Caribbean social club, Jalgos has a function room with bar and kitchen available to hire. The committee is also welcoming suggestions for future activities that could be held at the club.
