A man was found unresponsive inside a city centre pub this afternoon.


Officers from Lancashire police and North West Ambulance Service were called to the scene at Church Street at around 4pm today (March 12).

Emergency services had been contacted after a man was found unresponsive inside The Bears Paw.

He was treated by North West Ambulance Service at the scene before being taken to hospital. The nature of the incident is not yet clear, but Blog Preston understands it is not thought to have involved violence.


A spokesperson for police said: “We were called to a concern for welfare, a man was found unresponsive. He has been taken to hospital.”
