Man charged with assault after woman and police officers attacked in Deepdale

A man has been charged with four counts of assault after a woman and police officers were attacked.
Bailey Wright, 22, of Woodfield, Clayton Brook, has been charged with four offences of assault causing actual bodily harm.
Officers were called to Muncaster Road, Deepdale, at 11.32am on Tuesday 5 March to a reports a woman has been assaulted.

While making an arrest, three Preston Police officers were assaulted during the incident between St Thomas’ Road and St George’s Road.
Wright has been remanded to appear before Preston Magistrates Court on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.
