Temporary traffic lights are continuing to cause significant delays at a major Ashton-on-Ribble junction.

Upgrades to traffic lights between Tulketh Brown and Lane Ends mean motorists are seeing delays of more than half-an-hour to usual journey times.

Preston Bus said the temporary lights between the two junctions are causing delays to the 31,35,44 and 46 services.

The 48 bus service is also being affected.

Work on the traffic lights is due to last until Wednesday 20 March.

There’s also further delays on the other side of Lane Ends, up Woodplumpton Road, with Electricity North West putting two-way signals in place outside the substation at 161 Woodplumpton Road. The works are listed to go on until 29 March.
