M6 cannabis bust as police uncover stash in boot at Leyland

Two people have been charged following a substantial cannabis seizure on the M6.

Police stopped a car on the M6 at Leyland in the early hours of Tuesday 5 March and two men were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs.

Three large bags of cannabis were found in the boot of the vehicle.

Diet Van Nguyen, 29, and Dung Nguyen, 67, both of Sharratt Street, London have been charged with possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.

Both appeared before Preston Magistrates’ Court this morning.
