Longridge Town Football Club have received a donation from two Lancashire home companies.
As part of their community outreach scheme, Barratt and David Wilson Homes have donated money to cover the cost of a new electronic substitute board.
The club, established in 1996, now play in the North West Counties League under management by Lee Ashcroft who has been coaching the team for 11 years.

The team train twice and play up to two games per week, travelling to Bury, Liverpool and even the Isle of Man for fixtures.
In the last 12 months, the ground has had a name change, now known as ‘The Recycling Lives Ground.’
Claire Jarvis, Managing Director at David Wilson Homes said: “We are committed to creating a positive impact on the surrounding areas in which we build.
“Football can play a vital part in bringing a community together, so we would encourage all of our new residents to visit the club and offer their support.”

The club is located next door to Barratt Homes’ Bowland Meadow and David Wilson Homes’ Inglewhite Meadow developments.
Joanne Cummings, Commercial Manager at Longridge Town FC said: “We have gone into partnership with a local business who is wishing to gain connections with the local community and also to encourage active lifestyles.
“We are equally as excited to go into partnership with Barratt and David Wilson Homes, which are our neighbours.”
