Fulwood and the M55 are experiencing heavy congestion during Friday (1 March) morning due to a crash.
Garstang Road is shut in both directions close to the junction with Lightfoot Lane, Fulwood.
Blog Preston understands firefighters and paramedics are on the scene of a crash – with one person being treated in the middle of the road.

Preston Police said the road remains shut between the Black Bull pub and Lightfoot Lane in both directions, following the crash at around 8.40am on Friday, and the M55 slip road is also affected.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area and there’s reports of severe congestion on the M55 eastbound as a result of the closure of Garstang Road.
Preston Bus says it is diverting its buses – the 45 services – via Tower Lane, Broadwood Drive, Levensgarth and Eastway to Garstang Road to pick up its normal route.
