Delays on A59 between Preston and Southport due to Tarleton signals stuck on red

Preston Police are advising people to avoid the area of Windgate at the junction with the A59 and Southport New Road in Tarleton.

The four-way traffic lights are currently stuck on red in all directions.

This has caused a build up of traffic in the area during lunchtime on Sunday (10 March).

Preston Police are asking people to find a different route if possible.
