A dedicated volunteer at Fulwood Scout Group is marking 60 years of service.
Elaine France has given her time to the 6th Fulwood Scout Group on Beechway, volunteering for 60 years and inspiring young people throughout her service.
The group are now looking for a new enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join the team alongside Elaine.

Norma Bruce, Group Scout Leader said: “Elaine is an inspiration to us all.
“Her dedication and passion for Scouting are truly remarkable, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything she has contributed to the group.
“We hope that by finding a new team member who shares Elaine’s enthusiasm, we can continue to provide life-changing experiences for young people in Fulwood for many years to come.”

The role involves helping a team of volunteers in delivering the scouting programme to children aged 10-14, helping them build confidence, teamwork and essential life skills.
Full training and support will be provided, with the group looking for someone with availability to volunteer one evening a week or even fortnightly.

Norma added: “We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for Scouting and who can bring their own unique energy and ideas to the role.
“What matters most is having a genuine desire to make a positive impact on young lives.”
