Access to Haighton Manor and surrounding properties is possible from the Grimsargh side of D’urton Lane and Haighton Green Lane but no traffic can get through to Fulwood from Grimsargh.
A United Utilities spokesperson said: “Our teams are dealing with a burst water main on Durton Lane, Preston. There are currently no issues with supply to customers in the area.
“Unfortunately, this means that there will be some disruption to traffic in the area whilst we carry out the repair. We apologise for any inconvenience.”
