A restored viewing platform has been built as part of the Preston and South Ribble Flood Scheme.
The update comes as tarmac is down at the viewing platform at Broadgate Gardens as well as tree planting being underway.
It has been announced that there will also be new seating when it opens.

The scheme is expected to cost around £54.7m, with funding being secured from the Government and other funding partners and work began in November 2022.
Construction is being into two phases and covers five areas according to the Environment Agency.
The Broadgate and Riverside section will comprise of defences made up of flood walls (topped with glass panels in some locations), and embankments.
Pictures taken this week show the work nearing completion along Broadgate.
There will be property level protection in some locations too.
This scheme will provide flood risk mitigation for communities from Broadgate in Preston up towards Higher Walton – helping to protect around 5,000 residential properties and businesses.
