Funding is available to help support households in South Ribble who are struggling due to the Cost of Living Crisis.
Those eligible will receive one-off payments of up to £500 as part of the Household Support Fund.
Applications are being taken until 15 March, with South Ribble Council supporting the distribution and working with Citizen’s Advice.

The funding has come from the Government to local authorities, with the aim to support basic heating costs and other essential items.
This is just one of the ways South Ribble Council is helping the community with the increased cost of living.
The council’s Social Prescribing Team are there to support residents, manage their health and wellbeing and address any other issues that may be impacting their lives, including money and housing worries.

Councillor Clare Hunter, Cabinet Member for Communities, Leisure, and Wellbeing said: “We know that the rising cost of living is putting pressures on households right across the borough.
“With the increase in energy bills, the cost of shopping and other rising prices, we have found that so many people – including those who have never struggled in this way before – are really feeling the pinch and need additional support.
“It is important to know that you do not need to be in receipt of any benefits to still be eligible.
“We are working hard with our colleagues at Citizen’s Advice to make sure that as many people as possible are aware of this funding and to support people to apply.”
The support is free, confidential and personalised. You can view more information on their website.
