Man seriously injured in hit-and-run tractor crash in Penwortham

Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously injured in a tractor collision in Penwortham.

South Ribble Police are asking for witnesses and dashcam footage after they were called following reports of a collision involving a tractor and a pedestrian on Howick Cross Lane, Penwortham, which happened at around midday on Friday 26th January, 2024.

A man in his 40s, who was getting out of a van, suffered a serious foot injury.

Enquiries are ongoing to trace the driver of the tractor.
