Here at Blog Preston we’re crowdfunding to grow our arts coverage.
By pledging to our campaign, you can help us share more of what’s coming up and inspire the people of Preston with ideas of things to see and do in the city.
We want to make it easy to find out what’s happening in Preston, whether it’s an exhibition, a gig, a family event or a workshop. You can pledge your support via our Spacehive page, pledging as little as £2 to help support us.
For event organisers it will put Blog Preston at the heart of the city’s what’s on scene and ensure they have a way to put events in front of people beyond their own websites and social channels.
If our campaign is successful we’ll use the funds to deliver an upgraded What’s On page, more regular arts stories, and features about arts and events organisations.

Co-editor Kate Rosindale said: “Arts, culture and events are so important to a place’s identity. For individuals, it’s a chance to create, learn, have fun and make connections.
“There’s currently a huge gap with arts and culture events not being promoted well enough and people left not knowing what’s going on in the city.
“I believe Blog Preston is perfectly positioned to plug that gap, thanks to our large number of readers and followers.
“There’s lots going on in Preston and our aim is to shine a light on that, so people can turn to Blog Preston to find out how to spend their time.”
We are pitching to the Lancashire Culture and Sport Fund so if you help us by pledging, they could put in up to 50 per cent of our target.
Please consider pledging to help us to unlock this funding. Our target in £5,241, and you can back our campaign on Spacehive and pledge your support – our Spacehive page can be supported by individuals or organisations and your pledge can be as little as £2.
