The Ordinary Man – the second instalment of The Preston Murders series with Detective Beth Fellows – has been published today (Thursday 8 February).

It follows The Raven’s Mark, which garnered a number of glowing reviews from best-selling and award-winning authors

The Ordinary Man trailer features eerie music and the words: “He’s just an ordinary man, driving an ordinary car telling you to get in. And he’s the last person you’ll ever see alive.”

A former pupil of Archbishop Temple Church of England High School and Preston College, Christie won the inaugural Joffe Books Prize for Crime Writers of Colour in 2021.

Christie said: “It’s very exciting to be having the launch in my home city and where the series is set.”
