Woman pursued in car, has windows smashed and handbag taken in Deepdale

Police want to trace three men after a woman was chased in her car, had the windows smashed and robbed in Deepdale.

The robbery took place in Linnet Street at 8.56pm on Thursday 18 January.

Preston Police say the woman was in her car and was pursued by three men in a car from New Hall Lane, down Skeffington Road and to St George’s Road.

When the woman stopped on Linnet Street three men got out of the car, smashed the windows of the woman’s car and took her handbag.

Anyone who saw the pursuit and robbery is asked to come forward and those in the area are asked to check their dashcam or CCTV footage.
