Significant damage caused to Fishergate Shopping Centre in late night incident

Around £10,000 worth of damage was caused to property in Preston in an incident as 2023 drew to a close, police have said.

Officers were called to Fishergate Shopping Centre to reports that a man had thrown items and kicked a window.

Lancashire Constabulary is now appealing for the public’s help in identifying the man pictured below in connection with the damage caused.

A spokesperson for police said: “We would like to speak to him in connection with criminal damage in Preston.

“We were called to the Fishergate Shopping Centre at around 1am on Friday, 29th December 2023 to reports a man had thrown items and kicked a window, causing around £10,000 worth of damage.

“We appreciate that this is quite a grainy image but we think that someone will know this person, and we would like to speak to him because we think he may be able to help with our investigation.”
