Police are investigating after a number of burglaries at a popular café in Leyland.
The Folly Café has been targeted three times within a week with an offender seen arriving on a bicycle.
The café owners don’t keep valuables in the business overnight but a small amount of goods have been stolen on each occasion. An image has now been released by police in connection with the incidents.

A spokesperson for police: “The Café has been targeted three times within a week with the offender, who arrived on a push bike, stealing a small amount goods. We are working really closely with the owners of the café and want to stress that nothing of value, including cash, is left in the building overnight.
“We appreciate that you cannot clearly see the person’s face in these images, but we are hoping that someone may have some information about who this could be, particularly due to the distinctive clothing and footwear.”
If you can help, police ask that you ring 101 or email Sgt Atkinson on 2812@lancashire.police.uk quoting the log number 0242 of the 26th January, 2024.
