A planned Preston for Palestine march and rally has been postponed due to a severe weather warning.
The event had been arranged for Sunday (21 January), but will now take place on Sunday 28 January from 1.30pm.
A spokesperson for organisers, Children of the Ghetto, said: “We have decided, on the grounds of safety and the predicted extreme weather to postpone until next Sunday.”

The event, which will start at the Flag Market, will call for a ceasefire and freedom for Palestine, plus an end to the bombing in Yemen.
It’s understood the route will mirror that of previous marches, taking in Birley Street, Earl Street, Lancaster Road, Lune Street, Friargate and Fishergate.
The last Preston for Palestine event in October attracted 3,000 and organisers are hopeful that this protest will be even larger.
