A new eyelash and brow supplies shop, aimed at local beauticians, has opened in Preston.

The shop named ‘iLASHEDPRO,’ on Blackpool Road at Lane Ends in Ashton-on-Ribble, promises to be a one-stop destination for all things lash and brow related. It plans to offer expert advice and personalised recommendations.

Owner, Imogen Southwood, also runs ‘The iLashed Academy’ which is next door to her new shop, where she has been a trainer and mentor for thousands of students.

At the age of 17, she started her own business whilst studying full-time at college and now, six years later, Imogen has her own beauty salon and brand of products.

Imogen has won numerous awards for her skills, being amongst the top 100 National Hair and Beauty Federation’s beauty influencers, after gaining over seventy thousand followers on Instagram. In 2023, she won Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the Enterprise Vision Awards.

She said: “Opening the shop is a dream come true for me.

“I’ve always been passionate about the products side of the business, having an online presence is great but now we also have a physical location where the local beauticians can drop in and buy the products without the need to order online.”

Imogen’s shop means that beauticians in Preston have a go-to destination for all their needs, without having to wait for a delivery.

Local lash artist, Lottie, said: “This is something the beauty industry desperately needs.

“The struggle is real when we drop our tweezers or run out of glue and lashes mid-appointment and now we have somewhere we can go to without waiting for an online delivery, we love it.”

iLASHEDPRO is open Monday to Friday, 9am- 5pm, at 463 Blackpool Road, Ashton, Preston.
