The body of a man was found at a property in Ingol in the early hours of the morning, police have confirmed.
Police were called before 6am today (January 29) to reports of a concern for welfare at an address in Whitby Avenue.
The body of a man in his 50s was found at the property. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are not treating the death as suspicious and are referring the incident to HM Coroner.

A spokesperson for police said: “We were called at 5.47am today to an address in Whitby Avenue, Ingol, Preston, to a report of a concern for welfare.
“Officers attended and very sadly the body of a man in his 50s was found at the property. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed in due course to HM Coroner.
“Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the death.”
