In pictures: Preston’s first snowfall of winter as city receives a blanketing

It seems that winter is well and truly upon us in Preston and South Ribble and you need to make sure you wrap up warm.

Weather warnings for snow and ice are currently in place and will remain until at least Thursday (18 January).

The public can expect sledging and snowman making weather as the yellow warnings mean that snow showers will continue in the area.
