A Greek restaurant and takeaway in Preston city centre is in the running for a national kebab award.
Greekouzina in Friargate is up for the best Greek restaurant or takeaway in the 12th British Kebab Awards.
Owner of Greekouzina Bill Karastergios told Blog Preston: “We feel really proud, to be honest. We want to say a huge thank you to our customers for supporting us through the years.
“We want to thank all our staff for their commitment and for helping us keep such high standards, and we promise we will continue doing our best.”

Bill and team are up against nine other Greek restaurants and takeaways and will find out if they’ve scooped the award during the award ceremony in London on Tuesday 27 February.
The original home for Greekouzina was in Marsh Lane on the corner with Ladywell Street in 2019 before it relocated to Friargate.
