The bedroom of a house in Preston went up in flames with crews from Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service called to the scene.
Crews were called to Leicester Road at around 1.16am this morning (January 3) with two appliances ultimately helping to extinguish the fire.
Crews were at the scene for around 90 minutes.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service said: “Two fire engines from Preston attended a fire that involved a bedroom on the first floor of a terraced property on Leicester Road, Preston.
“Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, and one tactical ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Firefighters were in attendance for approximately one hour and thirty minutes.”
