Assault at Preston chicken takeaway in early hours of the morning

A person was assaulted in a Preston city centre chicken shop in the lead up to Christmas.

Officers from Lancashire Constabulary were called to reports of an assault within Chick-Fill-A on Church Street at around 1.45am on December 10.

Now police have release an image of a woman they wish to speak with in connection to the assault. They have urged the public to get in touch if they recognise her.

A spokesperson for police said: “Do you recognise this woman?

“We’d like to speak to her in connection with an assault that happened at Chick-Fila-A on Church Street in Preston before Christmas.

“We were called at around 1:45am on 10th December to a report of an assault.”

If you recognise the woman pictured, police ask that you phone 101 quoting LC-20231209-1520.
