A Sunday league footballer has been taken to hospital after a game on Moor Park.
Lancashire Sunday League said the player had broken their leg during the game between Kirkham Seniors and Ashton Villa on Sunday (14 January) morning.
The air ambulance and North West Ambulance Service were called to Moor Park shortly after 11am.

The player involved was taken to Royal Preston Hospital by road ambulance.
A spokesperson for the Lancashire Sunday League said: “The Kirkham Seniors v Ashton Villa game at Moor Park this morning was abandoned after Kirkham’s Liam Bradley sustained a broken leg and dislocated ankle.
“Liam is currently in Royal Preston Hospital and we wish him a speedy recovery.
“Kirkham manager Bill Shaw was full of praise for the air ambulance service and the Ashton Villa team and officials.”
