Preston is set to host the international premiere of a brand new jukebox musical.

The Olympians, which follows Greek mythology, features hit songs from the 1970s onwards.

A group of second year UCLan theatre students are putting the show together, after previously bringing the Bad Girls musical to the stage.

Student Niamh Bradbury said: “It’s a funny musical set in Ancient Greece, Mount Olympus, Sparta, Athens and various locations in the Greek Islands.

“It features well-loved songs from the likes of Miley Cyrus, Blondie and Tears for Fears.

“Anyone will be sure to love this musical from kids to adults.”

The Olympians will be on at St Peter’s Arts Centre from Wednesday 10 to Saturday 13 January.
