Police issue 999 alert for man often seen in Preston city centre

Police have issued an alert warning the public to call 999 if they see a wanted man from Preston.

Yusaf Akthar, 21, is wanted for stalking, according to the appeal from Lancashire police. They ask that members of the public call 999 if they see him or use 101 if you have information regarding his whereabouts.

The man is described as being 6ft, slim, and often seen in Preston City Centre. He also has links to Fulwood and Deepdale.

A spokesperson for police said: “Akthar, 21, is wanted for stalking. He is described as 6 ft tall, of a slim build and is believed to frequent the town centre area of Preston.

“Akthar also has links to the Fulwood and Deepdale area. Do not approach him but call 999 for immediate sightings.”
