Fulwood mosque applies for external amplification of call to prayer

Masjid e Salaam mosque in Fulwood has applied for planning permission for external amplification of call to prayer.

The application seeks the permission to externally amplify the Adhan/call to prayer on four days of the year.

It is to mark the Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha festivals at the Watling Street Road mosque.

No other amplified calls to prayer would be made from the premises at any other time.

A date for decision has not yet been set.
