Firefighters remain on scene after Ashton-on-Ribble house fire

A clean-up operation after a house fire in Ashton-on-Ribble is continuing.

Three people were treated at the scene by the North West Ambulance Service.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service were called to a fire at a property in Ecroyd Road, Ashton-on-Ribble, around 6.30am on Wednesday (20 December).

Four crews were called from Preston, Penwortham, Fulwood and Bamber Bridge along with the aerial ladder platform from Preston Fire Station.

As of Wednesday lunchtime two fire crews remained on the scene.
