Biker suffers serious leg injuries in Whittle-le-Woods crash

A biker is in hospital with serious leg injuries after a crash in Whittle-le-Woods.


The rider of a Harley Davidson was involved in a crash around 9.15pm on Tuesday (20 December) on the A6 Preston Road.

The crash involved a Ranger Rover and the biker, a man in his 50s, suffered serious injuries.

Sergeant Pete Fyans of the Lancashire Roads Policing Unit said: “This collision has left a man with serious injuries and our thoughts are very much with him and his family, I would appeal to anyone who saw what happened or who has any CCTV/dashcam footage to get in touch.”
